SandersFit Rehab & Therapy Partners with TGC Athletics to Bring Integrated Physical Therapy, Recovery and Performance Services to Amarillo. Launch celebration connects Amarillo heritage, Texas craftsmanship, whole wellness and the next chapter of growth at Tascosa Golf Club
AMARILLO, Texas — SandersFit Rehab & Therapy, an elite physical therapy, sports rehabilitation and recovery group, has partnered with TGC Athletics, managed by Kinetic Strategies Inc., to bring expanded physical therapy services inside the Tascosa Golf Club Fitness Center in Amarillo.
This partnership is more than an open house and more than a new service offering. It is a connection to growth — for TGC Athletics, for SandersFit Rehab & Therapy, for Amarillo, and for the members, athletes, families, referral partners and community leaders who have helped shape TGC Athletics over the last 15 years.
The launch brings together three powerful stories: a modern physical therapy and performance model, the spirit of the Texas Panhandle, and the heritage of a club built on land once tied to one of the most important ranching stories in the American West.
Tascosa Golf Club sits on land once part of the historic Frying Pan Ranch, a place deeply connected to the cowboy spirit, innovation and grit that helped define the Texas Panhandle. The ranch helped prove the power of barbed wire in shaping modern ranching, and barbed wire remains part of Tascosa Golf Club’s identity today through its logo. That history makes the launch of SandersFit Rehab & Therapy inside the TGC Fitness Center especially meaningful: a place once tied to movement, work, land and resilience is now home to a new model of movement, recovery, strength and whole wellness.
“Amarillo has always been built by people who know how to work, adapt, grow and take care of one another,” said Cori Burns, CEO of Kinetic Strategies Inc. and Director of TGC Athletics. “This partnership honors that same Panhandle spirit. We are bringing a higher level of physical therapy, recovery and performance services to our members and community, but we are also celebrating the people, relationships and heritage that have made this growth possible.”
What makes SandersFit Rehab & Therapy unique is its individualized, athlete-centered approach. Rather than treating physical therapy as a short-term response to pain or injury, SandersFit focuses on the full person — how they move, train, recover, compete and live. Treatment plans are built around each patient’s goals, lifestyle, sport, performance demands and long-term wellness.
The SandersFit model uses advanced, research-driven techniques and services including manual therapy, exercise prescription, blood flow restriction training, functional movement modification, dry needling, post-operative rehabilitation, conservative-care rehabilitation, bridge programming and recovery services. This approach is designed to help patients move beyond injury care and return to the activities, sports and lifestyle they love with strength, confidence and a plan for long-term wellness.
The Amarillo clinic is led by Dr. Reed Brannon, PT, DPT, who brings local experience and a performance-based approach to rehabilitation. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet Dr. Ashley Reichert, PT, DPT, CEO Ross DeRogatis, and the SandersFit leadership team known for training and rehabilitating professional athletes, collegiate athletes and active adults who want a different approach to whole-body wellness.
“Physical therapy should not end when pain decreases,” said Dr. Reed Brannon, PT, DPT. “Our goal is to help patients return to the activities they love with strength, confidence and a plan that supports long-term health and performance.”
To celebrate the launch, TGC Athletics and SandersFit Rehab & Therapy will host a special Open House and Lucchese Bootmaker Pop-Up at the TGC Fitness Center. The event will transform the fitness center into an elevated networking experience that blends wellness, Western heritage, Texas craftsmanship and community connection.
The Lucchese presence also carries a meaningful Amarillo connection. Although Lucchese President Doug Kindy and his wife, Sally, are unable to attend as they await the arrival of a new grandchild, Doug was born in Amarillo — making this pop-up feel less like an outside event and more like a homecoming. Bringing Lucchese Bootmaker to TGC Athletics connects one of Texas’ most iconic craftsmanship brands with the spirit of the Texas Panhandle: heritage, grit, family, community and growth.
Because Amarillo does not have a Lucchese store, this pop-up offers a rare opportunity for the TGC community and invited guests to shop and purchase Lucchese boots in person. Guests will enjoy a bourbon and boots experience with the newly opening Charlee’s Speakeasy and custom cocktails for those 21 and older, networking with physicians, referral partners, business leaders, members and community leaders, and an opportunity to meet the SandersFit and TGC Athletics teams.
“This is not just an open house,” Burns said. “It is a moment of connection — connecting where we have been with where we are going, connecting Amarillo heritage with future growth, and connecting our members and partners to a whole wellness model that supports how they want to live.”
The celebration continues on Thursday, June 25, with a TGC Member Boot Camp led by SandersFit Dallas physical therapy and training leaders, TGC Athletics trainers Blue Baggett and Marc Cornell, and Dr. Reed Brannon, PT, DPT. Recovery services will be available following the Boot Camp, giving members a firsthand experience of the connected training, rehab and recovery model now available inside the TGC Fitness Center.
For Amarillo, the partnership brings a new level of access to integrated physical therapy, recovery and performance services without requiring athletes, members or referral patients to travel outside the Panhandle. For the TGC community, it represents the next evolution of the club’s wellness ecosystem — one that supports athletes, active adults, families, professionals and members who want to move better, recover smarter and live stronger.
