New 24/7 Access at the Tascosa Athletic Center

We have a new entry software and system for the 24/7 access at the Tascosa Athletic Center using a tool called Open Path.

Openpath mobile access offers a unified credential by reimagining the digital badge and bridging the gap between cyber and physical security. Paired with patented Triple Unlock technology, Openpath is the fastest, most reliable mobile credential on the market, improving security without compromising convenience. There are a couple of features we really like including options to provide Touchless Unlock and Automatic entry detection. Use your mobile phone or watch to unlock the door. Openpath leverages Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LTE, and location services to ensure the best door opening experience possible.

To log into the Openpath app:

1. Download the Openpath app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store

   1. See What are the minimum requirements for the Openpath mobile app?

2. Open the app and tap Get Started

3. Enter your email and tap Send Setup Email

4. You will receive an email from Openpath Security. Open the email from the same device where you just installed the Openpath app (it won’t work otherwise).

5. In the email, tap SET UP PHONE

   1. If you did not see the email, please see Openpath set up phone link not working or not received.

6. After you click the link, you'll automatically log in and the app will guide you through a tutorial and a few setup steps. After setting up, the app will show you the entries that you have access to.

For Android users: After clicking on the SET UP PHONE link, your phone will ask if you want to open with a web browser or Openpath, please choose Openpath.

For iPhone users: Choose “Allow” when asked “Allow Openpath to access your location even when you are not using the app?”

In addition to the convenience, this new system allows for improved reporting for both our members and our team. These utilization reports can be used with your corporate wellness programs for reimbursement and/or verification of utilization of the gym, provides added security and ease of communication.

Please install the Open Path App on your phone and look for the email we have sent with your mobile credential set up. If you have questions please call our TGC Athletics Proshop at 806-342-3051 ext. 8 or come in and we will help you get started! Our goal is to replace key card usage with this technology, but if you need a key card in lieu of utilizing the mobile entry please contact Cori Burns at cori.burns@estacar.com or submit your request to our Proshop Front Desk Staff and we will get you an active card as soon as possible.
